Our curriculum

Learning children can actually use

At Violets' Orchids School we follow a comprehensive curriculum that emphasises experiential learning, ensuring that children not only learn but also apply their knowledge in real-life situations. It is designed to foster holistic development and prepare children for future challenges.

Personal, social and emotional development

We focus on building confidence, independence and social skills, helping children interact positively with peers and adults.

Communication, language and literacy

Our programs enhance listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities, laying the foundation for effective communication.

Mathematical knowledge and understanding

Through hands-on activities, children develop a strong grasp of basic mathematical concepts, fostering logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Creative development

We encourage creativity through art, music and imaginative play, allowing children to express themselves and think innovatively.

Physical development

Our curriculum includes activities that promote physical health, coordination and motor skills, ensuring children develop a healthy lifestyle.

Woven together through play

These five areas aren't taught as separate subjects. They run through our regular course of activities embedded with curriculum.
